Position Overview:
The Installation Engineer is responsible for the setup, configuration, and commissioning of
equipment and systems at client sites. This role ensures that installations meet technical
specifications, safety standards, and client requirements, providing support throughout the
installation lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute the installation of machinery, equipment, or systems according to
technical drawings and specifications.
- Conduct site assessments to determine installation requirements and constraints.
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, and internal teams to coordinate
installation activities.
- Perform system testing and troubleshooting to ensure optimal functionality post
- installation.
- Provide technical support and training to clients on the operation and maintenance
of installed systems.
- Document installation procedures, configurations, and any modifications made
during the process.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all installation
activities.
- Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to
installation processes.
Qualifications: - Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field). - Experience: 1-5 years of experience in equipment or system installation, preferably in automation. - Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., safety training, equipment-specific certifications) are advantageous.
