Chemi Tech Group is a leading player in the solar industry, engaged in manufacturing and distribution of solar module mounting structures, FRP products, and complete solar balance of systems (BoS). With a robust presence across India, we are expanding our manufacturing capabilities and looking for skilled professionals to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate slitting machine for processing metal coils (GI, Galvalume, HR, etc.) as per production requirements
- Ensure accurate slitting as per specified width, thickness, and tolerance levels
- Monitor machine performance and maintain consistent output quality
- Handle coil loading, alignment, and proper feeding into the machine
- Identify and minimize material wastage during slitting operations
- Perform routine machine checks and basic preventive maintenance
- Maintain production records and report daily output
- Ensure adherence to safety norms and proper handling of materials
- Coordinate with production and quality teams for smooth operations
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in operating slitting machines (preferably in metal/steel industry)
- Basic understanding of coil handling, thickness control, and slitting tolerances
- Knowledge of different materials like GI, Galvalume, Pre-GI, HR will be preferred
- Ability to handle machines independently and troubleshoot minor issues
- Basic education (ITI/Diploma/Graduate preferred)
- Willingness to work in shifts
