Job Role: Accountant – Group Accounts & Administration

Job Description
Manage day-to-day accounting operations primarily for Bhavishya and support accounting and finance activities across group companies.
Maintain complete and accurate company-wise books of accounts.
Handle bookkeeping, GST, TDS, bank reconciliation, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, vendor payments, customer collections, payroll support, statutory compliance, financial reporting, and audit coordination.
Coordinate with management, auditors, consultants, banks, vendors, and internal teams.
Ensure accuracy of financial records and timely completion of statutory and accounting requirements.
Independently manage assigned accounting activities and progressively take ownership of multiple group entities.

Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Bookkeeping:
Maintain complete and accurate books of accounts for Bhavishya and other group entities.
Record day-to-day:
Sales transactions.
Purchase transactions.
Receipts.
Payments.
Journal entries.
Contra entries.




Prepare and maintain vouchers, invoices, debit notes, credit notes, and supporting documents.
Maintain ledger accounting and perform General Ledger scrutiny.
Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
Track vendor outstanding, customer receivables, and ageing reports.
Reconcile vendor and customer ledgers periodically.
Maintain petty cash, employee reimbursements, and expense records.
Ensure correct classification of expenses, income, assets, and liabilities.

GST & Statutory Compliance
Prepare data and working papers for GST returns, including:
GSTR-1.
GSTR-3B.
Other applicable GST returns.
Perform GST input tax credit reconciliation and identify mismatches.
Verify vendor GST compliance and supporting invoices.
Maintain records for TDS deductions, payments, and return filing.
Assist with TDS reconciliation and Form 26AS / AIS-related accounting reviews where required.
