Job Summary

Purpose of the Role: The Services Business Development Sales Manager for Spindle Business will be responsible for driving profitable growth of SKFs Spindle Services business across India. The role focuses on developing and executing sales strategies, acquiring current customers, expanding existing accounts, creating market opportunities, and strengthening SKFs position as the preferred spindle lifecycle partner for machine tool and manufacturing customers.

The incumbent will collaborate closely with customers, SKF sales teams, service centres, application engineering teams, and global spindle experts to deliver value-added service solutions and achieve sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development Sales
Develop and execute the India growth strategy for SKF Spindle Services business.




Identify and develop recent market prospects across automotive, aerospace, general engineering, electronics, machine tool, and precision manufacturing industries.
Generate qualified sales opportunities and convert them into profitable business.
Build strong relationships with key decision-makers including Plant Heads, Maintenance Heads, Production Heads, Procurement Teams, and OEM partners.
Drive market penetration through direct customer engagement and channel partners where applicable.
Develop account plans for strategic customers and increase wallet share.
Commercial Growth
Achieve annual sales, order intake, profitability, and growth targets.
Prepare commercial proposals, negotiate contracts, and secure long-term service agreements.
Ensure healthy sales funnel management and forecasting accuracy.
