Job Summary

A Magento Architect is responsible for planning, designing, managing architecture, and mentoring team while adopting best practices.
Responsibilities
Interfaces between clients, PMs, Business Solution Architects and Development team.
Maps clients product roadmap against Magento native vs custom features.
Validates the architecture against requirements and assumptions.
Verifies and validates development process, ensuring adherence to quality standards and methodology.
Creates technical specification documents.
Reviews codes and maintains highest Magento standard coding.
Leads/guides/mentors team members comprising senior and mid-level.
Be responsible for the technical architecture, code quality, performance, security and scalability of enterprise level projects.
Always represents Magento (work product, communications, presence) professionally in both client and team situations.
Articulates the architectural vision to clients, sponsors and stakeholders.

Overall 12+ years of Experience
9+ years of experience with Magento development
3+ years of experience with Magento 2 development
9+ years of experience with PHP development
9+ years of experience with MySQL
5+ years managing technical and/or business teams in customer-facing function
Should have worked as an Architect for at least 3+ Magento Implementations
Experience working with Magento 2.3.x to 2.4.x
Experience with web services (SOAP, RESTful, GraphQL)
Experience with Version Control Systems like GIT
Knowledge of different branching strategies
Be well versed with Magento native features and respective configurations
Expert knowledge of Composer
Have experience integrating Magento with other applications/tools
Familiarity with other ecommerce platforms
Have outstanding design and problem-solving skills, passion for quality and engineering excellence at scale
Experience building and designing
