This role has been designed as Hybrid with a requirement that you will work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office.
Job Family Definition:
Designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for software enhancements and recent products. Develops software including operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases and Internet-related tools. Determines hardware compatibility and/or influences hardware design.
Management Level Definition:
Contributions include applying intermediate level of subject matter expertise to solve common technical problems. Acts as an informed team member providing analysis of information and recommendations for appropriate action. Works independently within an established framework and with moderate supervision.
What You Will Do
Extensive understanding of modern Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices, methodologies, and implementation strategies.
Robust experience with virtualisation technologies and infrastructure platforms.
Ability to understand end to end Regression testing work flow at technology area and platform/product level.
Having Experience and capability in solving complex issues in testing.
Responsibility to bring up a holistic and a long term solution for regression testing carried out on networking products.
High quality debugging skills, ascertaining the reason for failure, distinguish between a SW bug or otherwise precisely.
Working with Development and Test Teams to analyse Test coverage and gaps and debugging the problems.
Preferably have experience with JUNOS/EVO
Performing RCA (Root Cause Analysis) to identify Use Case Coverage gaps.
Test Automation Frameworks, tools and scripting languages (Perl, Python) a must.
What You Need to Bring
BE/ME/MCA in CS/ECE.
Positive if candidate is having Juniper/Networking certifications.
5+ years of experience in product test and L2/L3 protocols testing.
