Job Summary

OnSemi is seeking a Principal Analog Design Engineer, Current Product Development, Power Management, to join our growing team in Bengaluru, India. This group is responsible for development of power management products including DC-DC PMIC/POL, multiphase controllers, Dr. MOS, AC-DC converters, LED drivers, SiC drivers, switches and efuses for consumer, industrial and automotive applications. In this role, you will focus on the following.
Responsibilities
Lead an analog IP block from definition to IP delivery
Evaluate intermediate and results of projects during the design phase and during silicon evaluation, to ensure accomplishment of technical objectives
Work with and provide guidance to physical designers and monitors the progress of IC layout
Collaborate with Design Verification teams during the pre-tapeout phase of a project to ensure completion of all technical tasks before tapeout
Collaborate with validation, product engineering and test engineering teams to enable successful transfer to production




Collaborate with overseas design and systems teams on technical aspects, IP development, sharing of know-how
Own technical outcomes of design, verification, implementation, and execution of power management ICs with complexities that can span from straightforward regulators to complex mixed-signal designs and control loops
Understand project goals, create a realistic schedule and resource plan, track execution schedule to plan, monitor progress, and provide full clarity to the team on the goals and objectives
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements

BS in Electrical Engineering or related + 7 years of experience, or MS + 5 years of experience
Qualification
Solid track record of delivering multiple complex IPs to manufacturing
Extensive knowledge of engineering processes, principles, and methodologies
Goal and outcome-focused with the ability to handle multiple projects within the team
Ability to attract and retain key engineering talent
