Role: Network Device Patching & Configuration Engineer

Experience:4-8 Years

Key Responsibilities
- Perform firmware/OS patching and upgrades on network devices (routers, switches, firewalls)
- Manage configuration updates, backups, and standardization across network infrastructure
- Conduct pre/post upgrade validation to ensure network stability and mínimal downtime
- Perform L2 triage for network-related incidents, patch failures, and performance issues

Required Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with network devices (Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, etc.)
- Expertise in network OS upgrades, patching, and configuration management
- Good understanding of routing, switching, firewall concepts
- Experience in incident triage and troubleshootingFamiliarity with ITIL processes (Incident/Change Management)

Positive to Have
- Exposure to automation tools (Ansible, Python) for network configuration
- Experience with vulnerability/remediation tools
- Relevant certifications (CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent)

Network engineer with strong patching and configuration management expertise, capable of ensuring secure and stable network operations in enterprise environments.
