Job Summary

The Area Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, expanding market presence, managing channel partners, and leading the sales team within the assigned territory. The role focuses on achieving revenue targets, developing customer relationships, implementing sales strategies, and ensuring excellent market execution.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned territory.
- Develop and implement area sales plans aligned with business objectives.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand market coverage.
- Increase product penetration across existing and new customers.
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer preferences.

Channel Management
- Appoint, develop, and manage distributors, dealers, and retailers.
- Ensure availability of products across assigned markets.




- Monitor distributor inventory and stock levels.
- Improve distributor productivity and profitability.
- Resolve channel partner issues and strengthen business relationships.

Team Management
- Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise Sales Executives and Territory Sales Officers.
- Set individual sales targets and performance objectives.
- Conduct regular field visits and coaching sessions.
- Monitor team productivity and ensure adherence to company policies.
- Drive employee engagement and capability development.

Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers.
- Conduct regular customer visits to understand business requirements.
- Resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

Sales Planning & Reporting
- Prepare sales forecasts and territory plans.
- Analyze sales performance and identify growth
