Job Role: Hardware & Network Engineer

Job Description
Provide first-level technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Install, configure, and maintain desktop systems, laptops, servers, printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.
Support Windows, Linux, and Mac OS installations and configurations.
Perform system installations, hardware upgrades, and application installations.
Configure and maintain LAN, wireless, USB, and network printers.
Provide remote desktop support and resolve user issues through ticketing systems.
Assist with the setup and configuration of new IT equipment.
Support and maintain local LAN, Internet, and corporate WAN connectivity.
Maintain CCTV and biometric systems.
Manage user email accounts and resolve email-related issues.
Handle backup management and assist with data restoration.
Perform user data validation and maintain data integrity.
Support security systems including firewalls, intrusion detection, antivirus, authentication systems,



and log management.
Document incidents, troubleshooting steps, solutions, and support procedures.
Create and maintain technical documentation and service desk support solutions.
Coordinate with other IT and Core Services teams to resolve complex technical issues.
Communicate effectively with employees to understand and resolve their IT requirements.
Ensure timely resolution of user queries and technical issues.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
6 months–1 year of experience in technical support or helpdesk roles.
Solid hardware and networking knowledge.
Valuable troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Valuable communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Commitment to providing excellent customer service.
