We are looking for Production Supervisor with 2 - 4 years experience in production background .

Job location : Gummidipoondi SIPCOT

Preferred candidates - Candidates living in around gummidipoondi/ willing to relocate.

Key Responsibilities:
Shop-Floor & Workforce Leadership: Direct and manage operators and workers on the shop floor, training work force, driving high productivity, shift discipline, and seamless day-to-day operations.
Process & Manufacturing Oversight: Oversee operations across heavy steel fabrication, welding, precision machining, CNC/VMC, conventional machining, and painting lines.
Material Accountability: Ensure strict tracking, traceability, and optimal utilization of raw materials and components to minimize scrap and wastage.
5S & Workplace Organization: Implement and sustain rigorous 5S methodologies to maintain a clean, protected, and highly efficient shop floor.
Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict industrial safety protocols, hazard identification, and risk mitigation to maintain a zero-accident workplace.
Documentation & Record Management: Ensure timely preparation, maintenance, and submission of daily production logs,



tracking sheets, shift reports, and other production-related records.
Quality & ISO Standards: Ensure adherence to ISO quality management systems and rigorous quality checks at every stage of production to deliver product as per set standards.
Continuous Improvement: Drive lean production principles, root cause analysis (RCA), and process optimization to eliminate bottlenecks and reduce waste.

Qualifications :
Experience: 4 to 8 years of hands-on supervisory or engineering production experience in a steel manufacturing, heavy fabrication, or machining industry.
Technical & System Expertise: Solid command of reading engineering drawings, welding standards, CNC/VMC operations, fabrication processes and other manufacturing principles.
Core Competencies: Excellent communication, reporting, man-management skills, material tracking discipline, and robust problem-solving abilities on the shop floor.
Education: Degree or Diploma in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering
