Job Role: Purchase Manager – Electrical & Civil

Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end procurement of electrical materials, equipment, and services for construction, infrastructure, industrial, and project-based requirements.
Obtain and compare quotations from suppliers and prepare comparative statements.
Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.
Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranties, and commercial conditions.
Issue purchase orders and ensure compliance with approved specifications and commercial terms.
Coordinate with project, engineering, stores, and accounts teams for procurement requirements.
Monitor material availability, quality, delivery schedules, and overall procurement costs.
Ensure timely delivery of materials as per project requirements.
Maintain proper purchase records, vendor documents, quotations, and purchase orders.




Support cost-control initiatives and identify opportunities for better pricing and procurement efficiency.

Required Qualifications
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
Additional qualification in Purchase / Procurement / Supply Chain Management is an advantage.
5–10+ years of experience in electrical procurement / purchase.
Solid knowledge of electrical materials, brands, specifications, and market pricing.
Positive vendor management and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP/SAP, purchase management systems, and documentation.
Positive communication, coordination, analytical, and decision-making skills.
