Kelsons Engineers & Fabricators is looking for a Purchase Officer to manage procurement activities for engineering and fabrication projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Vendor development and supplier management
Obtain and compare quotations from vendors
Prepare Purchase Orders (PO) and follow up on deliveries
Procure engineering, fabrication, electrical, hardware, and consumable materials
Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules
Coordinate with Production, Stores, and Accounts departments
Maintain purchase records, documentation, and reports
Ensure timely material availability as per project requirements
Requirements:
Graduate / Diploma in Engineering or relevant field
2–5 years of experience in Purchase/Procurement
Knowledge of engineering and fabrication materials
Positive negotiation and communication skills
Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP software
Ability to work independently and handle multiple vendors
