Manage shift-wise foundry production and manpower.
Monitor melting, moulding, core making, pouring and fettling processes.
Ensure proper chemical composition, temperature and inoculation of Cast Iron / SG Iron.
Achieve production targets with minimum rejection and rework.
Identify and control casting defects and take corrective action.
Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance and Production teams for smooth operations.
Maintain shift production, quality and downtime reports.
Ensure compliance with SOP, safety and 5S standards.
Train and guide operators for quality and productivity improvement.
Ensure proper shift handover and reporting to the Foundry/Production Head.
