Job Title : Structural Coordinator

Job Summary

The Structural Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all structural and post-tensioning (PT) activities from design through construction. The role involves reviewing structural drawings, coordinating with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal engineering teams, preparing PT shop drawings, resolving technical issues, and ensuring timely delivery of post-tensioning systems in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination

Coordinate post-tensioning activities with clients, structural consultants, architects, contractors, and site teams.

Review structural and architectural drawings to identify PT requirements and potential coordination issues.

Act as the primary liaison between the design office, production, and construction teams.

Monitor project schedules and ensure timely completion of PT design, fabrication, and installation activities.

Attend project coordination meetings and provide technical support.

Technical Coordination





Review post-tensioning layouts, shop drawings, tendon profiles, stressing sequences, and reinforcement details.

Coordinate with structural engineers regarding slab thickness, beam layouts, openings, tendon conflicts, and construction joints.

Ensure PT drawings comply with project specifications, applicable codes, and design intent.

Coordinate design revisions and distribute updated drawings to relevant stakeholders.

Review RFIs, technical queries, and consultant comments and coordinate responses.

Construction Support

Provide technical guidance to site engineers during tendon installation, stressing, and grouting operations.

Coordinate inspections with consultants and clients.

Verify that PT installation follows approved shop drawings and method statements.

Support troubleshooting of site issues related to tendon placement, stressing, and anchorage systems.
