Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overall supervision of cleaning and housekeeping activities.
- Responsible for the proper use of equipment and any mal-function of the same must be recorded and reported immediately.
- Supervise the usage of chemicals and detergents by the cleaning staff.
- Conducts daily briefing, toolbox talks, safety and hygiene awareness meeting.
- Check for cleanliness and hygiene of all the service equipment, premises, and take remedial actions when required.
- Check for the grooming standards, personal hygiene and cleanliness of the staff to advise a valuable attendance of the staff.
- Attend to the normal complaint and suggestions, etc. of the guests/ patient/customer and deal with them courteously.
- Proper teaching and training of the workers for the improvement of their knowledge and professionalism.
- Check Cleaning of all areas assigned and proper use of chemical / tools and equipments.
- Collection and disposal of garbage has to be checked properly before disposal from the floors.
- Attend all scheduled staff training and safety meetings.




- Receive work orders and delegate assignments to Multi-purpose workers.
- Estimate time and materials required on work orders.
- Respond to calls from Housekeeping department requesting immediate assistance for cleaning purpose.
- Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition following all prescribed regulations.
- Know current safety regulations.
- Respond to emergency call-in situations.
- Coordinating with members of the department and facility on all emergency condition regarding internal customers, visitor and staff safety.
- Report any complications on specific jobs or equipment. Consult Manager of housekeeping if unsure of any solution/action.
- Co-ordinate for schedules and project with the Manager - Housekeeping.
- Plan and oversee the scheduling of wok and vacation of Multi - purpose workers.
- Monitor work orders and confirm their completion work.
