Job Description - Senior Accountant

Position: Senior Accountant
Department: Accounts & Finance
Location: Hoshiarpur, Punjab

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting records and ledgers.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliances.
- Coordinate and assist with internal and external audits.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Process payroll and employee reimbursements.
- Prepare MIS reports and financial analysis for management.
- Ensure accurate bookkeeping using accounting software (Tally ERP/Tally Prime, Busy, or similar).
- Coordinate with banks, auditors, vendors, and government departments.
- Maintain proper documentation and financial records.

Requirements:




- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com); M.Com preferred.
- Minimum 5-8 years of accounting experience.:
- Previous experience working with a Chartered Accountant (CA) firm is mandatory.:
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, and statutory compliances.
- Proficiency in Tally Prime, MS Excel, and accounting software.
- Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Experience in manufacturing, poultry, agriculture, or FMCG industry will be an added advantage.
- Robust understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and compliance.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
