Role & responsibilities
Manage the complete merchandising cycle from order confirmation to final dispatch.
Coordinate with buyers regarding orders, product specifications, samples, approvals, pricing, quantities and delivery schedules.
Prepare and monitor Order Sheets, T&A; Calendars, Production Plans and Delivery Schedules.
Coordinate with Production, Quality, Stores, Purchase, Planning and Dispatch departments for smooth order execution.
Ensure timely availability of yarn, accessories, packing materials and other raw materials as per order requirements.
Monitor daily production progress against planned quantities and committed delivery dates.
Follow up on raw material availability, production status and order completion.
Coordinate for sample development, sample approvals, artwork, specifications and buyer requirements.
Monitor order status and identify potential delays, shortages and production bottlenecks.
Handle buyer queries, complaints and order-related issues and ensure timely resolution.
Coordinate with the costing team for product costing,



quotations and price negotiations.
Ensure products are manufactured according to buyer specifications, approved samples and required quality standards.
Maintain proper records of orders, buyer approvals, production status, delivery schedules and communications.
Prepare daily, weekly and monthly merchandising reports for management.
Track shipment and dispatch schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
Maintain robust skilled relationships with existing buyers and support the development of recent buyer relationships.
Coordinate with buyers regarding product development, new orders and changes in specifications.
Lead, train and supervise the merchandising team and allocate responsibilities effectively.
Monitor the performance of merchandisers and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
Coordinate with management to resolve critical order, production and buyer-related issues.
