Role & responsibilities
Prepare detailed RCC building plans, structural layouts, and working drawings for residential and commercial projects.
Carry out structural analysis and design of RCC buildings including foundations, columns, beams, slabs, staircases, shear walls, and other structural elements.
Develop structural models and perform analysis using ETABS, SAFE, STAAD.Pro, or equivalent software.
Design structures in accordance with relevant IS Codes and applicable building regulations.
Prepare detailed structural drawings, reinforcement detailing, bar bending schedules (BBS), and design calculations.
Coordinate with architects, site engineers, contractors, and other consultants to resolve design and execution issues.
Review structural drawings and ensure accuracy, constructability, and compliance with approved designs.
Conduct site visits when required and provide technical guidance during construction.
Prepare quantity estimates, BOQs, and material requirements related to structural works.
Maintain proper documentation of drawings, calculations, revisions,



and project records.

Preferred candidate profile
Diploma/B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech. in Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering.
Experience in RCC building planning and structural design will be preferred.
Valuable knowledge of IS 456, IS 875, IS 1893, IS 13920, IS 2502 and other relevant standards.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and structural design software such as ETABS/PROTECTED/STAAD.Pro.
Knowledge of RCC detailing, reinforcement design, foundation design, and seismic design.
Ability to prepare qualified structural drawings and design reports.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
Freshers with strong technical knowledge and practical interest may also be considered.
