VIDEO EDITOR Role & Responsibilities

Candidates applying as Video Editors will primarily work on:
Instagram Reels
Short-form social media videos
Founder-led videos
Educational content
Promotional videos
Brand videos
Advertisement creatives
Video campaigns for educational institutions
Long-form to short-form content repurposing
Captions and subtitles




B-roll integration
Transitions
Sound design
Music selection
Colour correction and grading
Motion graphics and text animation
Creating strong hooks, pacing and audience retention

Preferred Video Editing Skills

Knowledge of tools such as:
Adobe Premiere Pro
Adobe After Effects
DaVinci Resolve
Final Cut Pro
Motion Graphics tools

You should have a strong understanding of modern Instagram Reels, social media content and short-form video editing styles.
