Key Responsibilities

1. Incoming Quality Inspection
- Inspect raw materials such as GP coils, steel components, rubber/EPDM, nuts, bolts and other purchased items.
- Verify material against PO, drawing, specifications and supplier certificates.
- Maintain incoming inspection records and identify supplier-related quality issues.
- Coordinate with Purchase and Stores for rejected/non-conforming material.

2. In-Process Quality Control
- Conduct inspection at cutting, bending, punching, welding, tapping, plating, powder coating, assembly and packing stages.
- Check critical dimensions using vernier caliper, micrometer, gauges and other measuring instruments.
- Monitor welding quality, nut position, hole dimensions, coating thickness and assembly parameters.
- Ensure inspection is carried out as per approved drawings and control plans.

3. Final Inspection




- Inspect finished pipe support clamps, lined clamps, U-bolts, channels and other products before dispatch.
- Verify dimensions, appearance, quantity, packing and customer-specific requirements.
- Prepare and maintain final inspection reports.

4. NCR & Corrective Action
- Identify and record non-conforming products/processes.
- Prepare NCR reports and coordinate with Production for corrective action.
- Conduct root-cause analysis using 5 Why, Fishbone, CAPA, etc.
- Monitor corrective and preventive actions until closure.
- Reduce rejection, rework and customer complaints.
