Job Summary

Experience with TypeScript, Express.js/NestJS, Docker, Redis, cloud deployment, and API security will be an advantage. Current Node.js backend roles commonly emphasize REST APIs, database design, authentication, Git, Docker/cloud exposure, and production troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

Develop backend modules using Express.js and/or NestJS.

Work with MongoDB, MySQL, and/or PostgreSQL for database design and optimization.

Implement authentication and authorization using JWT, OAuth, or similar mechanisms.

Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, notification services, and external platforms.

Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code.

Handle asynchronous programming, promises, callbacks, and event-driven architecture effectively.

Identify and resolve bugs, performance issues, and production-level problems.

Work with Git/GitHub for version control, branching, pull requests, and code reviews.

Collaborate with frontend developers,



QA engineers, project managers, and other teams.

Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and architecture decisions.

Requirements:
- Must Have
- 3-4 years of professional experience in Node.js backend development.
- Strong knowledge of Node.js and JavaScript (ES6+).
- Hands-on experience with Express.js and/or NestJS.
- Strong experience in developing REST APIs.
- Good understanding of async/await, Promises, callbacks, event loop, and asynchronous programming.
- Strong knowledge of at least one database:
- MongoDB
- PostgreSQL
- MySQL
- Experience with Mongoose, Prisma, Sequelize, TypeORM, or similar ORM/ODM tools.
- Knowledge of JWT, OAuth, authentication, authorization, and API security.
- Good understanding of database design, indexing, queries, and optimization.
- Strong knowledge of Git and GitHub/GitLab.
