We are looking for a Welding Engineerwith qualification of degree/ diploma in mechanical Engineering with 8-10 Years experience in welding or heavy engineering fabrication.

Company is manufacturing & supplying Bogie Frames and Fully Assembled Bogie for the manufacturing units such as Integral Coach Factory Chennai, Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala; Up-to-date Coach Factory, Raebareli; Banaras Locomotive Works Chittaranjan Locomotive Works, Chittaranjan of Indian Railway as well as multinational companies such as M/s Siemens, M/s Medha & M/s TRSL, Kolkata.

Company is manufacturing large structures requiring accurate fabrications including Radiographic welding, NDT Testing & Precision CNC machining in large CMM machine. Key Responsibilities

*Ensure welding practices comply with industry standard as per EN 15085-2 CL-1

*Prepare and maintain Welding procedure specifications (WPS), procedure Qualification, Records (PQR), welder performance Qualification (WPQ) documents.

*Implement and monitor weld inspection protocols (e.g. visual inspection, methods like UT, RT, MT).

*Supervise welding quality control measures during manufacturing and repair operations.
- Investigate weld failures or defects and implements corrective actions.

*Provide technical support to welding personnel on the shop floor.

*Maintain detailed records of welding activities, inspection results and repairs.

*Prepare technical reports for audits, quality assurance.

*Support documents control
