Direct Applications Counsellor – Study Abroad

Key Responsibilities
Guide students on overseas education options after understanding their academic profile, career goals and preferences.
Counsel students on suitable
universities, courses, intakes and study destinations
.
Provide guidance on the
direct university application process
, eligibility criteria and admission requirements.
Assist students in understanding application requirements, documentation and timelines.
Advise students on tuition fees, living expenses, scholarships and overall education budgeting.
Build strong understanding of the
international education market, universities and evolving admission trends
.
Coordinate with university recruitment/admission teams and internal application teams to ensure smooth application processing.
Maintain regular communication with students and provide timely updates throughout the application journey.
Track application progress and ensure timely follow-ups and closures.

Qualifications
Minimum




1–3 years of relevant experience in Study Abroad / Overseas Education
.
Experience in
student counselling and/or university recruitment
is preferred.
Good understanding of overseas education markets such as
UK, USA, Canada, Australia, France, Germany and other key destinations
.
Strong knowledge of international universities, courses, admission processes and intakes.
Excellent communication and counselling skills with the ability to understand student requirements and provide relevant guidance.
Valuable working knowledge of
MS Office, CRM and basic analytics/metrics
.
Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to work with university and internal teams.
