Roles and Responsibilities
Conduct risk identification, hazard analysis, and HIRA to identify potential safety risks in the workplace & Mine Premises.
Comply statutory and Safety, Health and Workplace policy requirements
Develop and implement effective safety management systems, including incident investigation procedures and emergency response plans.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to industrial safety.
Perform regular safety inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for mitigation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop job safety analyses (JSAs) and conduct work permit system reviews.
Preparation of the annual and monthly Safety Management plan
Provide adequate supply of PPEs and other safety items for secure work setting
Implement SOP, Risk Assessment and Management directives




Monitor PPE implementation at Mines to reduce incidents/ accidents to reduce injury
Initiate corrective/ preventive action for any safety noncompliance/ deviations/ violation
Conduct regular Mock drill safety preparedness during emergency
Conduct Hazard analysis & risk assessment of each activity
Analyze Injury rate, Severity rate, frequency rate, LTI & prepare MIS report

Desired Candidate Profile
B.Tech / B.E. degree in Mining Engineering from a recognized institution & First Class Mine Manager Competency Certificate from DGMS.
Strong knowledge of safety regulations, safety management systems, accident investigation techniques, HSE documentation practices.
