Role Overview

Big Sam’s is looking for a highly capable and hands-on Head of Operations to lead and strengthen the company’s end-to-end operations across factory / processing operations, inventory, warehousing, cold chain, dispatch, logistics, and fulfilment.

This is a leadership role for someone who is equally comfortable on the ground and in planning mode — someone who can bring structure, improve process discipline, increase efficiency, reduce wastage, and ensure smooth day-to-day execution across a fast-growing perishables business.

The role is ideal for an operator who has experience in food, seafood, FMCG, perishables, cold chain, or related manufacturing / supply chain settings, and who enjoys building teams, systems, and accountability in a growing company.





Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Operations Leadership
Lead day-to-day operations across factory / processing, warehousing, inventory, dispatch, logistics, and fulfilment.
Ensure strong coordination across the full operating chain from inbound material flow to final customer delivery.
Build a reliable and scalable operating rhythm across teams and functions.
Factory / Processing Operations
Oversee factory / processing operations to ensure output targets, quality standards, efficiency, and compliance are consistently met.
Drive production planning in line with sales forecasts, inventory needs, and customer demand.
Improve manpower productivity, line efficiency, yield, and wastage control.
Ensure robust SOP adherence across processing, packing, hygiene, sanitation, and dispatch readiness.
Work closely with quality teams to maintain product integrity and food safety standards.
