Business Analyst Commercial Insurance 4+ Years Mumbai

We are hiring a Business Analyst – Commercial Insurance – 4+ Years for a leading General Insurance organization. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in Commercial Insurance, Business Analysis, General Insurance, Product/Process Design, Requirement Gathering, and Stakeholder Management who can work closely with business and technology teams to build scalable insurance solutions.

Responsibilities –
Gather, analyse, and document business requirements for Commercial Insurance products and processes.
Work with Commercial Lines, Product, Technology, Underwriting, and Operations teams to translate business needs into functional requirements.
Prepare BRDs/FRDs, user stories, process flows, business rules, and acceptance criteria.




Identify process gaps and opportunities for automation, digital transformation, and operational efficiency.
Support UAT, solution validation, implementation, and stakeholder sign-offs.

Requirements –
Graduate/Postgraduate with 4+ years of relevant Business Analyst experience, preferably in General Insurance/Insurance Technology.
Robust experience in Commercial Insurance / Commercial Lines with an understanding of insurance processes.
Good knowledge of Underwriting, Policy Administration, Endorsements, Renewals, Claims, Premium, and insurance lifecycle processes.
Hands-on experience in requirement gathering, BRD/FRD, user stories, process mapping, and UAT.
Robust analytical, communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and business-to-technology translation skills.
