Role & responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS management systems and programs in accordance with national and international standards and regulations (e.g., Factories Act, Workplace Protection Act, Hazardous Waste Management Rules, OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
Conduct regular risk assessments, hazard identification, and safety audits to identify potential risks and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Ensure compliance with all applicable EHS legal requirements, permits, and licenses.
Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees at all levels to promote a solid safety culture.
Investigate all incidents, accidents, near misses, and occupational illnesses,



determining root causes and implementing effective preventative measures.
Manage hazardous waste, chemical handling, storage, and disposal in an environmentally responsible manner.
Oversee the implementation of emergency preparedness and response plans, including fire safety and disaster management.
Maintain accurate EHS records and prepare reports for management and regulatory bodies.
Liaise with regulatory authorities, external auditors, and other stakeholders on EHS matters.
