Job Description - Billing Executive (Hospital)

Key Responsibilities:
- Generate accurate bills for OPD and IPD patients.
- Handle patient registration, billing, payments, and receipt generation.
- Prepare provisional and final bills for admitted patients.
- Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, pharmacy, and other departments to ensure accurate billing.
- Process cash, card, UPI, and insurance-related transactions.
- Verify insurance approvals, TPA documentation, and billing requirements.
- Resolve billing discrepancies and respond to patient billing queries professionally.
- Maintain billing records and ensure proper documentation.
- Prepare daily cash collection and billing reports.
- Ensure compliance with hospital billing policies and financial procedures.
- Support audits by providing billing records and reports as required.

Experience:




- 2-5 years of experience in hospital billing.
- Hands-on experience in both OPD and IPD billing is mandatory.

Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of hospital billing processes.
- Familiarity with Hospital Information Systems (HIS) and billing software.
- Valuable understanding of insurance and cashless billing procedures.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word).

Pay: Up to ₹20,000.00 per month
