Responsibilities:
_As A Design Engineer, You will: _
- Translate marketing and customer requirements into innovative design concepts
- Demonstrated ability to conduct critical review, seek approval of high complex design / layouts / documentation in collaboration with various stakeholders
- Experience in using various Engineering / Quality / analysis tools / processes to arrive design decisions
- Develop precise 3D part and assembly models using UG NX
- Create accurate 2D product drawings with proper tolerances, GD&T;, and surface finish specifications in compliance with ASME and other applicable standards
- Coordinate design activities and maintain effective communication with cross-functional stakeholders, including Project Engineering, Advanced Manufacturing, Reliability, Quality, suppliers, and plant teams.
- Deliver projects by defining scopes, managing schedules, and ensuring timely delivery of competitive products
- Oversee the NPD design process in alignment with Copeland’s stand
