Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end New Product Development (NPD) activities from customer inquiry to production approval.
- Study customer drawings, specifications, and technical requirements.
- Coordinate with customers for technical discussions, product feasibility, and design modifications.
- Work closely with Design, Tool Room, Production, Quality, Sales, and Purchase teams for successful project execution.
- Prepare feasibility reports, product development plans, and project timelines.
- Coordinate die development, trial planning, and validation activities.
- Analyze trial results and implement corrective actions for product improvement.
- Ensure APQP documentation and maintain development records.
- Support PPAP documentation and customer approvals.
- Conduct root cause analysis for development issues and implement preventive actions.




- Monitor project milestones and ensure timely completion.
- Drive cost optimization and value engineering initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements, quality standards, and company procedures.
- Participate in customer visits, technical audits, and product development meetings.

Required Qualifications
- Education:
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Automobile, Metallurgy, Production, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
- Experience:
- 3-8 years of experience in New Product Development.

Technical Skills
- Knowledge of New Product Development processes.
- Understanding of Aluminium Extrusion manufacturing is preferred.
- Experience with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, and MSA.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.;
- Familiarity with IATF 16949 requirements.
- Knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD/SolidWorks/CATIA) is an added advantage.
