Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

1. Concept preparations and evaluation based on weight, cost, attributes, vehicle variants/ platform modularity.

2. Lead Packaging & integration of Vehicle systems.

3. Vehicle calculation knowledge like, Wheel base calc, CG calc, Vehicle performance calc.

4. Lead DMU packaging reviews, Concerns resolution, Preparation of DMU reports & Sign off.

5. Support in Validation concerns tracking and resolution along with CFT

6. Support in Service concerns tracking and resolution along with CFT

7. Support in Plant concerns tracking and resolution along with CFT

8. Support Build at different phase of programme

9. Vehicle packaging and DMU sign off considering existing homologation requirements and future upcoming regulations.

10. Ensure EN / PR release, EBOM, Installation drg release through PLM and track and coordinate other aggregate releases

11. Participate in vehicle benchmarking, Vehicle Target setting and Cascading the same to System level targets.

12. Manage homologation documentation, testing, etc.

Expreienced in GNOVAC/ Vehicle quality audits.

4-9 Years of experience.

Qualifications:
B.E in Mechanical, Automobile

General Requirements

1. Vehicle system level functioning/design of Commercial Vehicle Systems, Categories & Application

2. Knowledge of Frame design and Key design principles of other aggregates

3. Knowledge on manufacturing processes, plant assembly layouts

4. Knowledge of SAM process

5. DMU (Digital Mock Up), 3D modelling, Assembly, Drafting (vehicle layouts)

6. Hands on Experience on Catia & Team center PLM

7. Exposure to existing and future Homologation requirements of Commercial Vehicles CAE, Testing & Validation

8. Hand on experience on coordination with overall product development team including all aggregates, attributes, design and verification/validation

9. Knowledge of product complexity/modularity management, manufacturing methods
