Key Responsibilities:
Analyse business and functional requirements to design comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and test

plans.
Execute functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, system, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

across web and enterprise applications.
Perform exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and usability issues not covered by scripted test cases.
Log, track, and manage defects through their full lifecycle identification, triage, retesting, and closure —

using a defect tracking tool (e.g., JIRA).
Validate REST APIs and backend responses using tools such as Postman, including request/response and

status-code checks.
Perform basic backend and data validation using SQL queries against relational databases.
Maintain and update the Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM) to ensure full test coverage.
Conduct cross-browser and cross-device compatibility testing where applicable.
Support UAT cycles and production release validation, coordinating with business stakeholders.
Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies — sprint planning,



stand-ups, retrospectives — and provide

QA input during grooming.
Prepare and maintain transparent test documentation: test plans, test cases, test summary reports, and defect

reports.
Collaborate with developers to reproduce, troubleshoot, and verify the resolution of reported defects.
Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, checklists, and testing standards.

Required Skill & Qualification:
4+ of hands-on experience in manual/functional software testing.
Solid understanding of STLC, SDLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Proven experience writing transparent, thorough test scenarios, test cases, and test plans from requirements/user

stories.
Hands-on experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, TestRail,

Zephyr, or similar.
