Key Responsibilities:

Accounting
Finalization of books of accounts for the organization and subsidiary companies on time
Supervising entries in the books of accounts and ensure that all the entries are made correctly
Monitoring day to day accounting of the organization including cash flow management, purchase accounting, fixed assets accounting etc.
Ensure that all accounting procedures & financial data are in accordance with internal procedures
Preparation of annual budget in consultation with MD (for the company)

Cash flow management
Monitor cash flow and ensure timely payments to sundry creditors and salary & compliances
Responsible for proper scrutiny of vendor bills and ensure timely payment
Creditor and debtor management

Billing
Responsible for supervising overall billing function
Ensure that all bills are passed as per the standard process set by the company without any complaints

Audit




Supporting in external & internal audit & maintaining records for cost, statutory audit, internal audit, etc.
Maintain a close working relationship with external auditors to ensure compliance & cooperation with their requirements & to provide an effective audit trail

Processes and Policies
Formulate execution and timely review and revision of all SOPs for accounts function.
Ensure strict adherence to set processes and tracking of variances and solutions on a real time basis.
Develop, review and improve accounting standards and practices within the company. Keep abreast of all developments at a statutory level.

MIS Generation
Submission of timely MIS to MD

Self & Team Development
Training & Development of subordinates
Mentoring the team

Experienced in managing team with 10+ yrs experience
