Position Overview

The Head – Skilling & Learning Development will lead the University’s skilling and learning development initiatives for

students, faculty and staff. The role will build an industry-aligned, outcome-driven skilling ecosystem through strategic

programs, certifications, partnerships and technology-enabled learning.

The position will work closely with Senior Management, Deans, HODs, Faculty, Training & Placement and Industry

Relations teams to identify skill requirements and translate them into measurable learning and employability

outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement the University-wide Skilling & Learning Development strategy and

annual/semester-wise skilling calendar.
Conduct skill-gap analysis and identify current and future competencies required across academic programs.
Design and implement technical, employability,



skilled and leadership development programs.
Build partnerships with industry, technology companies, certification bodies, EdTech organizations and training

providers.
Develop industry-recognized certification pathways and monitor participation, completion and certification

outcomes.
Lead faculty upskilling and reskilling initiatives aligned with emerging technologies, pedagogy and industry

practices.
Identify and develop programs in emerging areas such as AI/GenAI, Data Science, Cloud, Cybersecurity,

Business Analytics and other future skills.
Manage trainers, subject-matter experts, vendors, LMS/digital learning platforms and program delivery.
Establish dashboards and KPIs to measure participation, completion, certification, skill development,

employability and placement impact.
Prepare periodic reports for Senior Management and continuously improve programs based on data, feedback

and industr
