Position: API Automation Test Engineer
Experience: 1.5 to 3 years
Location: Bangalore / Pune / Chennai/Mumbai/Hyderabad

Required Skills
Relevant years of experience in software testing with strong expertise in API Automation Testing.
Hands-on experience in API automation using Rest Assured, Postman, and Swagger/OpenAPI.
Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
Experience in testing and automating RESTful APIs, Web Services, JSON, and XML payloads.
Good understanding of TestNG, JUnit, Maven, Gradle, and Git.
Experience working with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
Solid knowledge of Agile methodologies and SDLC/STLC processes.
Experience in database testing using SQL and backend validation techniques.
Knowledge of defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Azure Boards, etc.
Understanding of API authentication and security mechanisms such as OAuth 2.0, JWT, and Basic Authentication.
Experience in integration testing, regression testing, and microservices testing.
Robust analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
