Position Overview

We are looking for a disciplined and experienced EHS officer to manage EHS and industrial safety, at our manufacturing facility. The role requires strong leadership, strict compliance to safety standards, and hands-on exposure to industrial and shop-floor operations.

Job Purpose

To ensure a safe, healthy, and compliant working environment by implementing and monitoring Setting, Health & Safety (EHS) systems, reducing accidents, ensuring statutory compliance, and building a strong safety culture across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
Safety Management
Implement and enforce safety policies, procedures, and standard operating practices.
Conduct daily safety inspections of shop floor, machines, material handling, and work areas.
Ensure machine guarding, PPE usage, lock-out/tag-out (LOTO),



and protected work practices are followed.
Identify unsafe acts and unsafe conditions and take immediate corrective action.
Lead accident prevention programs and safety campaigns.
Accident & Incident Management
Investigate all accidents, near misses, and dangerous occurrences.
Prepare accident investigation reports with root cause analysis and corrective action plans.
Coordinate with HR, Production, and Legal teams in case of responsible accidents.
Maintain accident and incident records as per statutory requirements.
Statutory & Legal Compliance
Ensure compliance with:
Factories Act
State Safety Rules
ESI, Workmen Compensation
Fire & Emergency regulations
Maintain all statutory registers, safety records, and inspection reports.
Coordinate with Factory Inspector, Fire Department, and other authorities.
Safety Training & Awareness
Conduct safety induction for new employees, contract
