Job Responsibilities
Plan, supervise and monitor day-to-day production activities for road construction equipment and machinery.
Handle production of Asphalt Plants, Batch Mix Plants, Drum Mix Plants, Mobile Hot Mix Plants and Road Rollers.
Read and understand mechanical drawings, fabrication drawings, BOMs and machine specifications.
Coordinate with the design/engineering team for drawings, modifications and technical issues.
Plan manpower, machines, materials and production schedules to achieve daily/monthly production targets.
Supervise fabrication, machining, welding, assembly and installation activities.




Ensure proper assembly and alignment of mechanical components, structures, conveyors, mixers, rollers and other machine parts.
Monitor the quality of raw materials, fabricated components and finished products.
Coordinate with the purchase and stores departments to ensure timely availability of required materials and components.
Identify production problems, machine defects and process issues and take corrective actions.
Ensure production work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications and quality standards.
Conduct inspection and testing of machines before final dispatch.
Maintain production records, daily production reports, material consumption reports and inspection records.
Reduce production wastage, rework and manufacturing downtime.
Coordinate with the Quality, Maintenance, Stores, Purchase and Service teams.
