Senior Mainframe Developer / Technical Architect
Experience: 8+ Years
Domain: Banking / Insurance / Regulated Legacy Applications
8+ years of experience as a Senior Mainframe Developer or Technical Architect .
Robust experience delivering and supporting mission-critical legacy applications .
Hands-on expertise in PL/I, COBOL, JCL, CICS and IBM z/OS batch and online processing.
Solid knowledge of VSAM (KSDS, ESDS, RRDS), Datacom/Broadcom DB and DB2 .
Experience in legacy-code analysis, reverse engineering, module/dependency mapping and data-flow analysis .
Expertise in coding, unit testing and technical documentation .
Experience in requirements analysis, low-level design, SIT/UAT support and defect resolution .
Experience with release implementation, production support and post-cutover monitoring .
Banking, insurance, or other regulated industry experience preferred .
