To be successful as a Platform Engineer, you should have experience with:
Experience of Application or Technical Support.
Positive Knowledge on Release, Deployment and Change management process (ITIL).
Strong hands-on knowledge of Unix/Linux systems, storage fundamentals and infrastructure troubleshooting.
Positive working knowledge of NetApp storage, including capacity, snapshots, mounts, shares and operational coordination with storage teams.
Valuable knowledge of cloud and platform services such as AWS, OpenShift and Kubernetes, along with automation and configuration tools such as Terraform, Ansible and Chef.
Desirable Skills
Extensive hands-on experience with AWS, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker,
Ansible and observability tooling such as Observe.
Strong hands-on knowledge of Unix/Linux systems, enterprise storage and NetApp operations.
Working knowledge of Python scripting for automation, operational checks and tooling improvements.
