Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Product Design & Development Engineer to join our engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing and improving industrial packaging machines, material handling equipment and related mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities
Design and develop new mechanical products and machinery.
Prepare detailed 2D drawings and 3D models for manufacturing.
Modify and improve existing machine designs based on performance and customer requirements.
Create assembly drawings, fabrication drawings, BOM and manufacturing drawings.
Work on machine components such as packers, conveyors, screw conveyors, silos, feeders and supporting structures.
Coordinate with production, fabrication, purchase and assembly teams.
Select suitable materials, bearings, motors, gearboxes and other mechanical components.




Perform basic design calculations and ensure proper machine functionality.
Troubleshoot design and production-related issues.
Support prototype development, testing and final product improvement.
Maintain proper documentation of drawings, revisions and BOMs.

Required Skills
Solid knowledge of Mechanical Design & Product Development.
Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD.
Knowledge of Fusion 360 / SolidWorks preferred.
Knowledge of sheet metal, fabrication and machine component design.
Valuable understanding of manufacturing processes.
Knowledge of Screw Conveyor, Belt Conveyor, Silo, Packing Machine and Material Handling Equipment will be an advantage.
Ability to read and prepare engineering drawings.
Positive problem-solving and analytical skills.
Knowledge of MS Excel and basic documentation.

Qualification

Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. – Mechanical Engineering

Experience

3–5 Years in Mechanical Design / Machin
