Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to build and enhance an enterprise Internal Developer Platform (IDP) using Port.io. The role focuses on creating self-service developer experiences, golden paths, platform integrations, and scalable engineering workflows.

Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain Port.io blueprints, data models, entities, relations, scorecards, self-service actions, and RBAC.
Develop golden paths with automation, validation, and developer feedback.
Build integrations with GitHub, cloud platforms, CMDB, and observability tools.
Implement catalogue standards, quality checks, and health metrics.
Design contribution workflows with approvals and quality gates.
Improve developer experience using adoption and platform usage metrics.
Mentor engineers and maintain engineering standards and documentation.

Required Skills
8+ years in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Software Engineering.
2+ years experience with IDP / Developer Experience platforms.




Hands-on Port.io or comparable platforms such as Backstage / Humanitec.
Robust REST APIs, Webhooks, TypeScript/Node.js or Python.
Valuable knowledge of GitHub Actions and Terraform.
Experience with platform-as-a-product and developer experience practices.
Strong communication and distributed-team collaboration skills.

Tech Stack Port.io | GitHub Actions | Temporal | GitHub | Terraform | ServiceNow | AWS/Azure | Kubernetes

IaC/Security: Wiz, Checkov, OPA, tflint, terraform-docs, Infracost, Terratest

Positive to Have
Port.io certification or production Port.io experience.
Kubernetes and AWS/Azure knowledge.
Portal UX / developer dashboard experience.
Inner-source or contribution-based platform experience.
Financial services / regulated industry experience.

Priority: Candidates with hands-on Port.io experience will be strongly preferred.
