Job Title: Steel Engineer – Sourcing & Commercial Support

Experience: 2–7 Years

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech – Metallurgical, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering or related field

We are looking for a Steel Engineer to support steel sourcing, supplier management, technical evaluation, and commercial operations.

Key Responsibilities
Evaluate steel grades, specifications, mill certificates, and quality documents.
Identify and manage steel mills, suppliers, and processing partners.
Support pricing, quotations, RFQs, negotiations, and sourcing activities.
Monitor supplier quality, delivery, cost, and compliance.
Coordinate with Sales, Procurement, Logistics, and QA teams.
Analyze steel market trends and sourcing costs.
Maintain technical and commercial documentation.

Required Skills
Solid knowledge of steel grades and specifications.




Understanding of ASTM, EN, ISO, DIN, JIS, or API standards.
Ability to analyze mill test certificates and quality documents.
Robust supplier management and negotiation skills.
Valuable communication, analytical, and MS Office skills.
Experience in steel manufacturing, sourcing, trading, procurement, or technical sales preferred.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
