Job Description

As a Lead Draftsman (Interiors), you will be responsible for conducting residential site visits, capturing accurate measurements and technical details, and preparing precise 2D drawings for design and execution purposes.

Responsibilities

Visit residential project sites and take accurate measurements of the complete space.
n
Record wall dimensions, electrical points, plumbing points, and other relevant site details.
n
Measure and document structural elements, including columns, beams, doors, and windows.
n
Prepare detailed and accurate 2D drawings in AutoCAD based on site measurements.
n
Create wall elevation drawings with precise dimensions and specifications.
n
Ensure all drawings are prepared as per approved templates, standards, and project requirements.
n
Coordinate with the Design and Project teams to clarify site-related requirements and resolve discrepancies.
n
Identify and report any measurement variations or site constraints that may impact the design or execution.
n
Maintain accuracy, completeness, and consistency in all drawings and documentation.
n
Deliver drawings and related outputs within defined timelines while maintaining high-quality standards.
n

Qualifications & Experience

n

n
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
n
1–2 years of relevant experience in drafting, AutoCAD, site measurement, or a similar role.
n
Experience in residential interior or modular furniture projects will be an added advantage.
n

Skills Required

Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and 2D drafting.
n
Excellent ability to take precise and accurate site measurements.
n
Solid understanding of technical drawings, dimensions, and elevations.
n
High attention to detail and technical accuracy.
n
Valuable problem-solving and observation skills.

Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with Design and Project teams.
n
Good time management skills and the ability to meet project deadlines.
