Role & responsibilities
Installation, commissioning, and preventive maintenance of DG Sets.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults in generators.
Perform routine inspections and ensure optimum performance of DG equipment.
Attend service calls and breakdown complaints at customer sites.
Conduct load testing and performance checks of DG Sets.
Maintain service reports, job cards, and customer records.
Coordinate with customers and provide technical support when required.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
Monitor spare parts requirements and report inventory needs.
Provide timely resolution of customer complaints and ensure customer satisfaction.

Required Skills
Solid knowledge of diesel engines, alternators, control panels, and DG systems.
Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
Good troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
Basic computer knowledge for report preparation.




Solid communication and customer-handling skills.
Ability to work independently and travel for field service assignments.

Willingness to travel extensively for site visits and emergency breakdown support.
Strong problem-solving and technical diagnostic abilities.
Team player with a customer-focused approach.

Qualification
ITI / Diploma / B.E. (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or related field)
Candidates with relevant technical qualifications and hands-on experience in DG Sets are preferred.

Experience
Minimum 15 years of experience in Diesel Generator (DG Set) installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and servicing.
Experience with leading DG brands such as Cummins, Kirloskar, Mahindra, Ashok Leyland, Cooper, etc. will be an advantage.
