Role & responsibilities
Perform and interpret X-ray, ultrasound, CT and MRI examinations as per hospital facilities.
Provide accurate and timely radiology reports.
Perform and/or assist with USG-guided procedures and interventions, where trained and credentialed.
Handle emergency and inpatient imaging requests.
Discuss significant/critical findings with treating clinicians promptly.
Maintain appropriate documentation and comply with hospital reporting protocols.
Participate in multidisciplinary discussions and clinical meetings when required.
Ensure patient safety, appropriate imaging protocols and radiation-safety practices.
Coordinate with radiographers, technicians and clinical departments.
Maintain skilled standards and comply with hospital policies and applicable medical regulations.
