About the Role

n

Swami Vivekanand Subharti University invites applications from accomplished academic and administrative specialists for the position of Registrar . The Registrar will play a key leadership role in ensuring effective university administration, academic coordination, regulatory compliance and smooth functioning of institutional processes.

Eligibility & Experience

n

n
Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent from a recognized institution.
n
The candidate must possess high integrity, character and dignity .
n

n

Candidates should fulfil one of the following experience profiles :

n

n
At least 15 years of teaching experience as Assistant Professor or above , along with experience in educational administration; OR
n
Comparable experience in a research establishment and/or other institution of higher education; OR
n
15 years of administrative experience ,



including at least 8 years as Deputy Registrar or in an equivalent post .
n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
Provide strategic and administrative leadership for the effective functioning of the University.
n
Coordinate and oversee major administrative and academic processes across the University.
n
Ensure compliance with applicable statutory, regulatory and University policies.
n
Facilitate coordination between the University administration, academic departments and statutory bodies.
n
Maintain and strengthen institutional records, documentation and governance processes.
n
Support the implementation of decisions of the competent authorities and statutory bodies.
n
Contribute to institutional development, academic administration and quality enhancement initiatives.
n
Ensure transparency, efficiency, discipline and accountability in administrative operations.
n
Represent the University in official and statutory matters as assigned.
