Vahan is a YC-backed, AI-powered hiring marketplace connecting blue-collar talent to jobs at scale. We're looking for a Junior Accounts Executive with hands-on Zoho Books experience to support day-to-day accounting and finance administration — primarily Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, accounting entries, reconciliations, and finance admin work.

What you'll do

Create and maintain sales invoices in Zoho Books; record customer receipts and adjust against invoices
n
Maintain customer-wise receivable reports and perform regular customer account reconciliations
n
Help resolve invoice and payment-related queries
n
Record vendor bills and expenses in Zoho Books; verify invoices and supporting documents before accounting
n
Record vendor payments, maintain vendor ledgers, and track outstanding payables with payment schedules
n
Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies; coordinate with vendors on invoice/payment queries
n
Pass routine accounting entries and perform bank, customer, and vendor reconciliations
n
Support month-end closing and maintain proper documentation and accounting records
n




Assist the finance team with basic MIS and accounting reports
n
Handle day-to-day finance administration, including maintaining invoices and supporting records
n
Coordinate with internal teams for required invoices and documents
n
Support statutory compliance data preparation (GST, TDS) and assist during audits
n

What we're looking for

n
B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification in Finance or Accounting
n
1–2 years of experience in accounting or finance operations
n
Hands-on experience with Zoho Books is mandatory
n
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping
n
Positive understanding of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
n
Experience with bank, customer, and vendor reconciliation
n
Positive working knowledge of MS Excel/Google Sheets
n
Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with good documentation habits
n
Valuable communication and coordination skills
n
Willingness to learn and take ownership of assigned finance activities
