Purpose
Drive sales growth and maintain strong customer relationships within the Leather Technologies business across South India, ensuring Buckman is positioned as the preferred specialty chemical partner for leather processing and finishing solutions.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Leather Technology,
Leather Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
Mandatory Experience
3–5 years of sales experience in specialty chemicals serving the leather industry.
Hands-on exposure to leather manufacturing processes, including wet-end and finishing operations.
Experience working directly with tanneries and leather goods manufacturers.
Field application and technical service experience preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support, application guidance, and product recommendations to customers.
Manage assigned customer accounts and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Identify and develop new business opportunities within tanneries and leather processing facilities.
Execute territory sales plans to achieve revenue, volume, and profitability targets.
Conduct product trials and support commercial implementation of new technologies.
