Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Rebar Detailer role based in Coimbatore. The Rebar Detailer is responsible for preparing detailed rebar shop drawings and bar bending schedules (BBS) from structural and architectural plans. Daily tasks include interpreting engineering drawings, modeling reinforcement layouts, checking dimensions and quantities, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and project specifications. The role involves coordinating with engineers, project managers, and fabricators to clarify design requirements,



resolve discrepancies, and support smooth production and installation. The Rebar Detailer also reviews and updates drawings as needed, maintains organized documentation, and adheres to internal quality and safety standards.
Qualifications
Strong ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings, including reinforcement details and construction documents.
Proficiency in rebar detailing software or CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, specialized rebar detailing applications) and basic computer literacy.
Knowledge of relevant design and construction codes, standards, and practices related to reinforced concrete structures.
Attention to detail, accuracy in preparing shop drawings and BBS, and solid problem-solving skills for resolving drawing conflicts.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with engineers, project teams, and fabrication staff.
